So, I searched for her blog once more, only to find it removed because of the cancel culture. Cancel culture is sounding more like cancer culture, a disease unleashed on random people OR people asking for it. But, to what degree should freedom of speech be punished?

Ironically, Twitter’s new logomark, X seems to be a joke by appearing to be a symbol of cancel culture.

Back in the 1990s, societies were less maddening, or their voices were. They were more accepting and less triggered by any random shit we come across. Even the words ‘random shit’ can trigger someone.

What changed? Cultures? More idiots in the hoi polloi? Brain cells died?

Years ago, before COVID, I heard about cancel culture for the first time. Ironically, it was by some triggered online person whom I’ve never met who misjudged my comments and stubbornly insisted that I meant it another way. He insisted I was trying to get something canceled. What actually happened was, I asked a question to get an answer. And guess where that mental case came from? Where cancel culture was first heard of. Sheesh, who was he to tell me what I think I’m actually thinking? LMAO. Can’t even brain this.

I felt it was a waste of time explaining myself, so I eventually deleted that post since I’d gotten the answer. Thankfully, back then, other people came to my defense from this psycho.

I do pity celebrities’ lives. Yes, they have a lavish life, but imagine your life being broadcast everywhere you go. And your life can go down the drain anytime a mob decides to unleash the cancel disease upon you. For example, Kanye’s suffering from a mental illness. Not only did he not get the treatment he needed, his craziness was paraded on social media and society made a mockery of him. Same with Britney’s recent divorce from her ex-husband. Sides were taken. One side said her husband got lucky from having to deal with her mental illness. Talk about adding fuel to the fire.

Did they ask for it? It’s a grey area with celebrities. I guess it bogs down to whether what they did impacted the lives of others or everyone’s just being nosy.

I used to be an avid reader of Xiaxue’s blog.
